Roswell Invaders Rally Past Santa Fe Fuego 16-10

June 19 2024 The Roswell Invaders scored nine runs in the ninth inning to pull away for a 16-10 victory over the Santa Fe Fuego. Roswell finished with 12 hits, while Santa Fe collected 15 hits. The Invaders also hit five home runs and overcame four errors in the field. Roswell built an early 7-5 lead with four runs in the first inning and three more in the second. Santa Fe answered with a run in the fifth and another in the seventh to even the game at 7-7 before both teams erupted in the ninth. The Invaders scored nine times in the top half, and the Fuego responded with three runs in the bottom of the inning. Shane Morrow led Roswell with a home run, four RBI and two walks. Luis Moreno added a home run and three RBI, while Robert Malone went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI. Coco Simoneux and Jonathan Cavazos each had two hits, and Simoneux also scored twice and stole a base. Santa Fe was paced by Ryuya Enomoto and Zeke Hass, who each had three hits. Hass drove in three runs, and Jeremy DiBartolomeo contributed two hits and three RBI. Kayden Lewis earned the win for Roswell after allowing six runs, five earned, on nine hits in 4.1 innings with four walks and five strikeouts. Jordan Rodriguez followed with 1.2 scoreless innings, while Dominic Scotti took the loss for Santa Fe despite striking out 11 in eight innings.
