The Pecos Bills exploded for 21 runs in the ninth inning to defeat the Santa Fe Fuego 33-16.

Pecos finished with 33 runs on 25 hits, breaking open a close game with a massive final inning.

Juan Avila led the Bills, going 5-for-8 with a home run, four runs scored and six RBIs.

Anthony Hampton went 4-for-7 with three doubles, four runs scored and five RBIs. Derrick Cancel also had four hits, four runs and five RBIs.

Milton Perez added three hits, four runs and four RBIs, while Keelen Sloan homered and drove in four runs.

Santa Fe scored 16 runs on 16 hits, led by Rickey Rivas, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, double and four RBIs.

Sam Freedman also homered and drove in four runs for the Fuego, while Garrett Esposito added three RBIs.

The Bills scored in seven of nine innings and used the 21-run ninth to seal the win.
